Programming

WisCon has a jam-packed weekend of programming of many types — from Panels to Parties, and everything in between!

Submissions for Programming for WisCon are currently closed. We expect to re-open submissions (probably in the WisCon 2022 Discord) during the convention.

Panels

Our panel programming is arguably the heart of WisCon, where we have great discussions, great arguments, and lots of laughter. Topics range from current books, films, and TV — through gender, race, disability, and class — through politics — to fandom itself. And any WisCon member can sign up to be on a panel!

Academic

You can indulge your scholarly side with our Academic track of programming. Proposals are encouraged from undergraduate, postgraduate, and independent scholars.

Workshops

Focus on writing, art, or your post-apocalypse skills with our WisCon Workshops sessions.

Readings

All weekend long we have readings featuring the amazingly talented writers and poets who attend WisCon. Interested in signing up to read? This page will give you all the details you need.

Gaming

Need to get your dice on? We have board games, roleplaying, and gaming workshops in the evening.

Kids & Teens

For kids who have outgrown Child Care but who are not quite interested in our other programming just yet, we have programming specifically for kids 7-12 and teens 12-19!

Parties

Parties for all! WisCon has parties — hosted by WisCon members — Friday through Sunday nights.

Spontaneous Programming

Sometimes great discussions happen off the (schedule) grid. Our Spontaneous Program rooms are smaller rooms perfect for discussing great ideas as they come up.
