WisCon and its parent organization, SF3,are strongly committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal information.
WisCon will
- Only ask you for information that we actually need to put on WisCon
- Limit access to staff and partners who are performing specific tasks that require the information
- Minimize our need to store sensitive information such as credit cards [for example, by storing password digests rather than the actual password.]
- Disclose your information to other parties only if legally required to do so, or if you give your express permission [for example, by giving us a name to be used in the public convention program.]
- Consider privacy policies when choosing our business partners [for example, for credit card processing.]
